Biblical Interpretation (16 sessions)
A course that gives principles and insight for interpreting Scripture. It reviews the need for sound principles used for Biblical interpretation. It focuses on the tools and proper goals of interpreting the Bible and how to apply what is learned in a practical way.
Minor Prophets (8 sessions)
An overview of 12 Old Testament books often called the “Minor Prophets.” The term “minor” is used in reference to the length of each of the books (compared to other O.T. Prophetic books). The books include Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.
New Testament Survey (16 sessions)
An overview of the New Testament that provides the context for understanding and applying the principles learned. Significant facts are highlighted from each of the 27 books. Emphasis is placed on presenting the information in a manner that it can be used in preaching and teaching.
Old Testament Survey (24 sessions)
An overview of the Old Testament that provides the context for understanding and applying the principles learned. Significant facts are highlighted from each of the 39 books. Emphasis is placed on presenting the information in a manner that it can be used in preaching and teaching.
Prison Epistles: Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians, Philemon
Global University Curriculum—self study A practical study on the principles Paul wrote to the churches during his imprisonment. The concepts are presented in language that is easy to understand with explanations, illustrations, and applications that make the concepts helpful to students in both their personal lives and ministries.
Romans: Justification by Faith
Global University Curriculum—self study Students will read and study this book. It’s an in-depth study of the book of Romans. It focuses on Paul’s systematic explanation of the gospel to the Romans and offers insight inot the doctrines of sin, salvation, and sanctification. Students will learn how union with Christ and the indwelling Holy Spirit leads to spiritual growth. A test provided by Global University will be taken upon course completion.
The Book of Acts (40 sessions)
An in-depth study of the book of Acts. The course focuses on the role of the Holy Spirit, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and the growth of the early church. Students are taught how to make the supernatural lifestyle of Acts, an actual reality in their world today.
The Life and Ministry of Jesus (16 sessions)
A study of the life and teachings of Christ using the four gospels as the texts. Emphasis is placed on the context of Jesus’ teachings and the miracles He preformed. Students are encouraged and taught how to imitate the life of Jesus that He provided as a model for us to follow.
